Over US$150,000 in Christmas Cheer Delivered through the Denton Program
The United States Embassy worked with the U.S. Air Force and USAID to bring Christmas cheer to St. Lucians and Dominicans by facilitating the delivery of over US$150,000 in humanitarian on December 14th and 15th.

CBSI Youth Conference Links Students and Teachers from 11 Countries
On December 6-7, 26 students and 13 teachers from across the Caribbean came together in Barbados to learn how they can “do the right thing” by working through their criminal justice system to report crimes and testify as witnesses.

Ambassador Palmer in Antigua to donate the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS)
On November 26, Ambassador Palmer was in Antigua to donate the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) that will help increase safety for people across the Caribbean by enhancing border security. The system enables authorities in Antigua and Barbuda to quickly analyze fingerprints.

U.S. Navy Warship USS Michael Murphy visits Barbados on maiden voyage
Barbados was the very first port of call for the U.S. Navy’s newest warship, the USS Michael Murphy, which arrived here on Tuesday on its maiden voyage.

Ambassador Palmer presented a check for $48,000 to Dr. Reginald Murphy in Antigua to repair Betty’s Hope's windmill.
Betty’s Hope is one of the most important heritage tourism sites on Antigua. It was established in 1667 by Sir Christopher Codrington as the first large sugar estate on Antigua.

United States Announces US$458,000 in Security Assistance for Barbados to Combat Transnational Crime
On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, United States Ambassador Larry L. Palmer and Attorney General of Barbados Adriel Brathwaite will announce an amended letter of agreement between the United States and the Barbados providing US$458,000 in new funding to combat transnational crime and increase public safety.

United States Embassy Hosts Independence Day Celebrations
United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Larry L. Palmer, hosted a reception on the grounds of the Embassy in Wildey to mark the 236th Anniversary of Independence of the United States of America. Among the guests attending the celebrations were Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave and Lady Belgrave, who took "A Road Trip Across America".

Book Presentation to Blackman-Gollop Primary School
The U.S Embassy took the opportunity on Monday June 25 to reach out to the Blackman-Gollop Primary School in rural St. David’s Barbados, and to present the 200 pupils with 51 American classic and modern children’s books. This event reflects the Embassy's strong support for education in Barbados and throughout the Eastern Caribbean and supports the development of the country's human resources.

American Chamber of Commerce Coming to the Eastern Caribbean
Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will soon join the worldwide family of countries with American Chambers of Commerce (AmCham). This announcement was made recently at a business reception where new U.S. Ambassador to Barbados Larry L. Palmer met with members of the American business community in Barbados.

Denton Shipment for St Kitts
