U.S. Embassy Give Support to Youth Development and Entrepreneurship Programs

On Thursday, May 24, 2012, in a ceremony at the Barbados Youth Business Trust, Ambassador Larry Palmer announced two awards funded by USAID to support youth development in the Eastern Caribbean.

The grants include a US$2 million award to the Youth Business International to support youth entrepreneurship program and a US$2.4 million award to Junior Achievement Worldwide to support financial and business literacy for youth.
