Notarial Services
Consular Officers perform notarial services for all U.S. Passport holders, and for foreign nationals on documents destined to be used in the United States. Notarial services are executed by Consular Officers and may include documents signed before them, statements made under oath, powers of attorney, affidavits and acknowledgments.
To have a document notarized, you must come in person with the following:
- A valid passport or government issued photo ID card
- The document(s) to be notarized
- The fee of US$50 per signature required by Consular Officer, payable in cash or credit card
- If your document needs to be witnessed, please bring your witness with you or be prepared to ask other clients in the waiting room to be your witness.
Notice: To better serve our American citizen community, appointments are now required for all routine services. To schedule an appointment for notarial services, go to U.S. Citizens Services Appointment System.
